Nicholas Quartarone born and raised in North Andover, a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. At a young age, Nicholas recalled his heightened sense of intuition that peeked his curiosity into the awe and mystery of creativity and creation. Through self-study of literature of spiritual classics from the Far East combined with practicing meditative techniques, he was able to quickly grasp abstract concepts and philosophes that would describe how the metaphysical world affected our everyday material world. By the time he reached High School, Nicholas was fully submerged in exploring the mysteries of spirituality and of life itself.
Also, at a young age Nicholas discovered his other passion, music. He developed a love for music through playing the drums and percussion. He attended the prestige Berklee College of Music where he would study music education and performance. After College, Nicholas took his music education and spiritual studies and combined them to expand on his understanding and experience on how intangible forces such as sound and vibration affect the tangible world, especially the human body.
Nicholas moved to Southern California in 2009 where he discovered the Internal Alchemy Institute for Medical Qi-Gong. Medical Qi-Gong is one of the original practices of Chinese Medicine. Nicholas studied the foundational courses in this field at the Internal Alchemy Institute taught by Taoist Abbot Dr. Laura Johnson, daughter of the acclaimed Dr. Jerry Allen Johnson, Senior Taoist Abbot and Author to a collection of books and multi-media on Taoism, Medical Qi-Gong, and Martial Arts. These educational experiences would provide the foundation for his practice. He has been practicing Qi-Gong and meditation for the past 13 years and has been teaching professionally for the past 8 years. He has learned an array of Qi- Gong and meditation techniques and exercises. He uses his knowledge and experience to craft each one of his Qi-Gong and meditation classes. He has been working with multiple centers in Los Angeles and Orange County. He is RADT (Registered Alcohol Drug Technician) and CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) Certified. Nicholas believes his purpose is to enrich the lives of others and the world we live in, through bringing peace, joy, and contentment to as many as he can through his work.
