Welcome to a whole new week! With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, there’s bound to be some mixed feelings in the air. Liberate Hollywood reader Paul gives us the lowdown on what to expect this week as an overall theme.

The Hanged Man meaning:

In this deck, Prometheus is letting us know that he is not a victim. He volunteered; he knew he might get in a little trouble stealing fire from Mt. Olympus and giving it to man, because man at the time did not have the means to cook food and he was cold. So he brought fire from Mt. Olympus and gave it to Zeus’s creation, Man. Zeus got a little ticked and went “Oh, really? Not a good idea! I’m going to chain you to the rock and this falcon will eat your liver. But since you’re immortal, you’ll never die!”

But, the Hanged Man calls us to look at things a new way. He’s hanging upside-down to look at things in a new way. It’s also voluntary. So, look at what you’re looking at and also within this perspective, it’s a card of patience. Go ahead, see what you’re seeing, and then be consistent. You know, ask “What are we doing here?”

This week is about patience, consistency, moving forward and getting into the routines that work for you.

Metaphysics examines the very nature of reality. It offers explanations for phenomena that cannot be explained by “natural” science or that are “beyond the physical”.

This science studies the individual as a whole, as a physical and spiritual being.

Certain types of chakra healing and other holistic, spiritual healing practices, personal development, and even business coaching are based on metaphysics. They typically include working on physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of one’s being to resolve issues that person is facing.

The fundamental law of metaphysics is that every action or decision causes a reaction or an effect. Everything that happens to us (positive or negative) results from past actions or decisions in this lifetime or before the present life.

Similarly, everything we do now will have an effect on our life in the future. This law is better known as karma (action).

It is also believed that we must resolve our life’s issues in this lifetime.
