We are both material and energetic beings, and just as we need to care for our physical body with hygiene, nutrition, exercise and bodywork readjustments, our energy body also requires our attention and maintenance. Through energy work, you can remove negative thought patterns, beliefs, and attachments to energize and amplify yourself so you can operate more fully refreshed and empowered. There are many types of energy work, from Pranic to Theta and including the most popular practice that is Reiki.
Great for: Relieving stress, healing emotional upsets, gaining focus and clarity, energizing and overall wellness.
REIKI
Reiki is a branch of energy work that developed in Japan around 1922 by Mikao Usui, that specializes in stress reduction and relaxation while also promoting healing. Reiki healing is very effective when we feel unbalanced, providing and channeling universal energy to clear our chakras and restore stability and balance into our energetic field.
PRANIC
Pranic Healing is a “no-touch” (vs Reiki which is most commonly known as a “hands-on” energy healing) healing system that utilizes “life force,” “energy,” or prana to accelerate the body’s inborn ability to heal itself. It is practiced by hundreds of thousands across the world. Pranic Healing helps an individual work through traumas, fears and phobias through cut cords with any negative energies that are attached to your chakras, aura or energetic field.
CHAKRA BALANCING
Chakra balancing is based on the ancient Indian belief in a series of seven chakras, or energy centers. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel. These energy centers are believed to be located at specific points between the base of the spine and the top of the skull. Some esoteric systems include additional chakras, said to extend beyond the physical body into the human auric field. Each chakra is believed to relate to particular organs of the body, ailments, colors, elements, and emotions. However, different systems or sources that use the idea of chakras may disagree about the details. The concept of chakras plays a key role in two ancient Indian healing systems (ayurvedic medicine and yoga ) that are popular today. In recent decades, however, many modern therapies (like polarity therapy, therapeutic touch , process acupressure , core energetics, and color therapy ) have also incorporated the idea of chakras into their own visions of healing. Various approaches may be used to “balance” the chakras. Chakra balancing is believed to promote health by maximizing the flow of energy in the body, much as a tune-up enables a car to operate at peak efficiency.
THETA
Another Energy Healing modality is Theta Healing, a technique that includes meditation and spiritual philosophy, with the purpose of getting closer to the Creator. ThetaHealing is a training method for your body, mind and spirit to let go of limiting beliefs and live life with positive thoughts, helping you to learn how to ease mental, physical and emotional shifts.
BREATHWORK
Breathwork describes a group of exercises that teach you to manipulate your breathing rate and depth with the goal of bringing awareness to your breath and ultimately providing the same benefits you might get from a meditative practice. Most formal practices involve 20 minutes to an hour of sustained, rhythmic breathing techniques. People who practice breathwork describe feeling tingling sensations throughout their body, feelings of clarity, alertness, increased mind-body connection and even emotional purging.
CRYSTAL HEALING
Crystal Healing is widely known and oftentimes incorporated into Reiki. Through Crystal Healing, facilitators use different types of crystals such as Clear Quartz, Amethyst, Carnelian, Citrine and many more, placed through the body on our energetic points (AKA chakras) for their healing properties to help unblock, balance and restore energy to the chakras and well as release any stagnant, unwanted or negative energy from the aura.
SOUND HEALING
Sound Healing has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing, whether through the use of mantras as with the hindins, the icarods (medicine melodies) of various indigenous people from central and south America, or Pythagoras’ use of interval and frequency. These various techniques all have the same intention: to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance.
CORD CUTTING
The process, the ceremony of “Cord Cutting” is based on the premise that when we enter into relationship with a person, or even business relationships, and contracts of all sorts, an energetic thread or cord is activated. As we move through life, often these relationships no longer are what we need or want them to be. “Cord Cutting” allows for the energetic thread that has been running to be cut. Relationships don’t have to end, but this allows for new beginnings instead of being trapped in the past. Sometimes, we want relationships to end, such as when you are no longer in a relationship with a lover. Every time you enter into such a relationship, particularly one that leads to sexual involvement, an energetic thread is started. If the relationship continues, the thread gets stronger. Often, people can feel this, or have an intuitive sense of what is going on with their partner. This is due to the energetic connection. Even relationships that are ended, years later there still can be a tapping in.
